Person of interest in Edinboro native's disappearance sentenced in Florida

Man sentenced to 12 years on attempted first-degree murder A person of interest in the disappearance of a former Edinboro woman has been sentenced for trying to kill a women in Florida. Tyler Mook, 35, was sentenced to serve 12 years, minus two years already served, in a Florida prison. Mook was convicted of attempted first-degree murder in March in Martin County, Florida. Mook was arrested on Oct. 4, 2014 in Palm City, Fla., after he tried to drown his girlfriend while the two were on a boat. Mook is a person of interest in the disappearance of Edinboro native and ex-wife Shelley Mook, who went missing on Feb. 28, 2011 in Tennessee. Shelley Mook went missing after dropping off their daughter at Tyler Mook's home in Shelbyville, Tenn.
